Khatanas’ Law Chamber, an award-winning firm in Pakistan, was founded in 1999 by Mr. Malik Jamshaid ul Hassan Khatana with the aim of modernizing legal services in Pakistan and establishing a strong practice in Lahore. His son, Mr. Aneeq Khatana, an alumnus of both Harvard University and Queen Mary University of London, has diligently continued this mission, expanding the firm’s presence to Lahore, Islamabad, and a liaison office in Karachi. Mr. Aneeq has been a driving force behind the promotion of Alternate Dispute Resolution and the launch of Pakistan’s first Practical Legal Training Program, demonstrating the firm’s commitment to innovation in legal education and practice. Lieutenant Colonel (Retd). Naeem Bari Salimi, our senior partner and a distinguished figure in both the military and legal arenas, has significantly contributed to strengthening the firm’s standing and influence. His work builds on the foundation laid by his father, Mr. Ghulam Bari Salimi, an Aligarh University alumnus and a renowned criminal lawyer in Pakistan. Continuing this legacy, Mr. Ali Salimi, an accomplished graduate of UC Berkeley and the grandson of Mr. Ghulam Bari, now serves as a partner, further advancing the firm’s leadership in Intellectual Property Law.
